Action photos only Did this yestderday in northern Florida. Pity that the car is limited to 5500 RPM in 5th. Pretty sure that the gauge simply "goes no higer" as I'm pretty sure I had another 5 mph on what is shown. Car: 2002 AMG CLK 55 (top was up, thankyou very much).
I am not seeing the photos displayed. Is anyone else having that problem? Oh and docwho the 275GTB4 you have is incredible. Did LFSC get around to washing it yet? That has got be one of the best looking cars of all time.
LOL! No Doubt! A 55 Gallon Drum of Bondo will go a long way!!!... But,as far as a piece of Art goes....Well,it's a piece of something, thats for sure! But,I do give the guy some credit. (For imagination....) But,once he hits a Pothole or some Railroad Tracks..... I just don't want to be the guy driving behind him...
To me, that guy's a real fan. He didn't spring for some poser Fiero kit car and try to pass it off as authentic. This beastie is almost an homage. If he likes Ferraris so much that he would be seen driving that, he's OK with me.
One of these days I'm taking my 308 to a Fiero show and try passing it off as a replica. I'm sure I'll win. Heck I fooled Bill Wildt when I told him it was a replica, hehe.
Being the weirdo that I am I joined the Fiero club when I got the 308. Just for the fun of it. Now I have a Fiero Club magnet sticker for the back of the Ferrari if I ever go to such an event. Sick, I know.
Yeah,I E-Mailed the Pres. of the Local Fiero Club asking when the Show was. I never got a response. I think that I may have ticked him off....? I said that I had a "Real Ferrari". And wanted to check out the Fiero's that "looked like Ferrari's"........Oh Well.... They have one every Year, and it's right by my House. In Oakbrook Terrace,On Midwest Rd.,just South of 22nd. St.,or North of Butterfield Rd. Check out: www.msutv.com. I think they post when it is. Usually,I believe in August or September?
I'll repost my felonious action picture a little later... Just got back from a long road trip - drug the clk down to ft. lauderdale and brought a c320 wagon back. 3000 miles is a long haul... Not planning on hitting those speeds again any time soon
Let us know Frank - we have to go to that! But we have to agree to tell them only that our cars are "very extensive and authentic replicas". And we can say that Andreas' has the very rare "aero" package...
