Awesome video!!!!!!!!!!! Guy is the man and if the FXX made him feel like that then to me it's a certified insanely fast car. What a lucky kid to catch that ride!

 

It is an insanely fast car but when I see what he does with his bike then I'm baffled. In the video he wasn't going fast at all. Watch the video of Manuma to see what the FXX can do and you will understand. But it is indeed wonderful to see what the FXX does to Guy especially if you see what he is capable of and used to doing on a motorbike around the Isle of Man … now that's what I call scary.

Work perhaps, but back surgery, broken ribs, sternum and vertebrae has got to slow you down for a little bit...he is a tough bloke though! At least he missed hitting the tree!

Guy Martin is a LUNATIC. Amazing guy. And what he does on a bike is not repeated by ANYONE on ANY car on ANY track.

These (Isle of Man) T/T guys - all of them - are not comparable to more or less anyone else in other forms of motorsport.

The one time that Motorsport footage appears to be speeded up but is not. Nothing else comes close in sharing the feeling of utterly insane speed.

 

I'm thinking he is comfortable on his bike and probably hadn't been in a car as powerful as the FXX so that experience was new to him and thrilling. It was cool to watch that.

I had never heard about the Isle of Man TT until I stumbled upon this video and I was completely blown away. In my opinion these guys are doing something more extreme than those guys that jump in the flying suits along the cliffs. The danger and level of protection is about the same except the bike guys are doing it for sooooooo much longer.

they are truly warriors, salary for winning a race is small so they do this only for fun, now compare this to modern F1

 

Great video of the ride in the FXX. Thanks for posting. The young kid (his son?) looked like he was crying. He'll never forget that ride. The Isle of Man TT racers are a unique breed but I think motocross pros are even higher risk takers and much more physical. All deserve respect as true gladiators of modern competition.

 

The young kid is the son of the owner...I'm sure he'll be in the car plenty more times .

IMO TT riders are the craziest of them all. All due respect to MX guys, I'm friends with some of Africa's finest, but their speeds are much lower compared to TT. Going wide doesn't mean hitting a stone bridge post and being launched into a somewhat expecting elderly couples' living room.

 

Sorry if I missed it, but how did they make the FXX road legal??
