Tornado where were you?

I can't see the article on Accuweather but I am assuming you meant the tornado in 1974. I was 4 at the time and do not remember it. My mother to this day gets scared and goes to the basement at just about any mention of a tornado watch or warning. We were livinging outside Brandenburg, KY when it hit and Brandenburg was in the direct path of it. I do remember as a kid riding with my parents years later and I could still see the path cut by the tornado through a heavy patch of trees. It looked as if it had been cleared to make way for a road or powerline to go through. Downtown Brandenburg still had signs of areas hit by it up until I moved from there when I was 14.

 

I was 3 at the time but have had several brushes with small tornados within a quarter of a mile from my home. SCARY!!!
