So excited to see race 2 tomorrow. I gave today's tickets to my brother and father who are enjoying the sunshine in Grandstand 3 (just at the end of the long straight).

Hinch was lucky to have picked up a few places at the end, especially after Carpenter'*****.

    OK, I'm confused...

the original plan was standing start Saturday, rolling start Sunday, yes?

so now because of the aborted start on Saturday (which resulted in a rolling, single file restart) they are going to try a standing start in today's race?

also, that penalty on Dario was rescinded? official box score shows him finishing 3rd. (that's cool with me, it was a BS call)

and Munoz in for Briscoe, as he injured his wrist. hope Munoz can show some talent in the big show.

Dario has become something of a tool....

Standing start again today if the drivers can handle it.

Catching up with pre-race...seems like Dario and Will can at least stand next to each other and not kill each other.

They pulled off the standing start today. Glad they tried it again.

I thought yesterday was a great race. I expect today's will be too.

Nice start, boys. So much better than those raggedy-assed rolling starts. Let's make it permanent on street and road circuits.

    Yep.

I really like Matchett's enthusiasm too; hope he does more races. Someone just needs to tell him IndyCar doesn't have a "safety car." :D

Matchett is a good add to the team. Would like to have him go full time where he is actually on site unlike F1 where they broadcast the race watching a TV in Charlotte just like we are...

Hilarious...he just commented that F1 has a REGULATION that the trophy can not separate at the base to stop what happened yesterday to Sebastian. HAHAHA....also you must use 11 sheets of paper to wipe your arse :D:D:D:D

There are on the street courses, but that is common among most series when they race a street course...there have only been three I think...not too bad for a street circuit.

    Just catching up...Carpenter makes 4...

They need a few more speed shots...they are hitting 177 on the straight but all they have is the camera at the end of the straight...

177 is no freaking joke on a city street man...

I'm guessing you missed the first 60 incident free laps? : p

street circuit + late cautions = wrecks.
