Not sure if this helps but I believe the 348 is 72-74lbs I'm sure there is a post on this somewhere.. -dave
The OM says 72 but advice (from my Indy tech) is to go to around 80. Can't see why you'd want to go as high as 90. Also Important to re-torque after 30-50 miles I.
FWIW, I use 82 ft-pounds (110 Newton-meters) on my Mercedes, per the Owners Manual. NEVER use an impact wrench to tighten the bolts/nuts ... NEVER.
Mike C: Do you guys just make this stuff up? Look in the manual! 72 ft lbs. LOL...great comment!.. I use a 4 ft breaker bar on my torque wrench, and torque each one just to the point of the bolt threads streaching..j/k
Mike is right, the manual says 72. I will admit though that I have always set mine to 80 because 72 seems a little low. Birdman
72 has always worked for me -- Except when I had my wheels repainted. I checked after my first track session after the repaint, as usual, and all 20 bolts were barely finger tight. I had torqued them myself with my torque wrench when I installed them that morning. Same thing happened to a lesser extent the next track session of the day, and the next. Took most of the day for them to stabilize. So pay attention to the re-check note above.
