Trying to find a torque spec for the small nuts around the rear main seal area on the sandwich plate between the engine and bellhousing. I searched the site and have checked the shop
manual but cannot locate it. Any info is appreciated.

It can also be useful to look at the torque spec for similar thread size items in the same mounting situation/materials in the F WSMs -- for example, for a M8x1.25 nut on a steel stud mounted in Aluminum, page M6 of the 308GT4 WSM for the "CLUTCH" area shows 2,5 Kg-m (18 ft-lb); whereas, for the same size M8 x 12.5 steel bolts going into the steel flywheel, the torque is a higher 3,5 Kg-m (25 ft-lb).

Although not totally clear IMO, the torque spec on page M6 of the 308GT4 WSM for "Nut for clutch bell and cover" may be the direct spec that you are looking for. Is fastener in question an M8 x 1.25 steel nut used on a steel stud mounted in an Aluminum casting?

True, but if not listed I tend to go with industry std.
Speaking of cam caps, forever ago I was putting replacement cams in my old bmw track car, aluminum heads... Lazy and tired after being at the track for the weekend didn't check the tq wrench setting... Sheared the dang stud at the head! M6x1 stud, found out the stud will break before pulling out of the head. Fun times!

    Checking the WSM lists the m6x1 on the valve cover at 0.9 daN.m = 9Nm = 6.6 lb-ft...

There's a ring of m6x1 studs around the main bearing for the crankshaft. The m8's are everywhere else, and the m10's ring the bell housing.

Right, these are the 6mm nuts around the main seal. I was concerned that they may have some unusual spec because the pull the center of the plate and the main seal in.
