Hi all! I need a little help. Does anyone know the torque spec for the rear wheel ring nut shown in the link below as item #35 (part #102289).

    http://www.ricambiamerica.com/parts_catalogs.php?M=FE&P=&V=diag&I=3104

I found a torque spec of 300NM (225Ft Lb) but it seems excessive for such a narrow ring nut. When I removed the nut it was only finger tight (It was staked though). So I am not sure what to do.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Tom

The workshop manual states 300NM like you noted.

that is a 45mm ring nut, and not a narrow nut as you said. 300Nm seems reasonable.
