He's talking about the 19mm Tensioner bolt (I think).

Yes, that's the bold that holds the tension on the bearing. I need to know its torque spec.

    Thanks

You are all talking about the same bolt -- it is a 12mm bolt with a 19mm hex head (using your numbers).

    What model?

    The 308GT4 WSM has:

    "Nut for timing belt stretcher"
    "12 x 1,25" (the thread size = bolt size)
    "6,6 Kgm" (48 ft-lb)

In the TR WSM, they improved the translation ;), and for the same thread size they give "5.6 daNm" (41.2 ft-lb).

The 308QV/328 Workshop Manual (that you can get at Steve Jenkin's site in .pdf) gives the same (later) value as the TR WSM -- 5,6 daNm (41.2 ft-lb)

    Excellent! Thank You!

Steve, do you know if the cam belts are date coded? If so, do know how to decypher? See http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=126966

No, I've got nothing specific on that other than a foggy recollection that the subject has come up here before.
