    OK. I'm trying to figure out the torque values in the workshop manual. For example, on the 328 cam covers, it shows 0.9 Nm? If that is really Newton-Meters, it translates to like 8 inch-lbs. And I know that's not correct.

    I'm sure some of you have the translation.

    Thanks for any help!

    da N-m (deka Newton-meters = 10 Newton-meters), not N-m -- multiply your (incorrect) conversion by about 10 (but 0.9 da N-m = 6.6 ft-lbs).
