I disassembled a Torrix BteSDGD switch this weekend.

I couldn't find a thread on it, so I am willing to post my findings, if anyone is interested.

I was able to clean it up and get it going again.

Down direction was intermittent and both sides had high Ohm readings.

    I have attached a photo.

I did the same repair...worked for me too. After the achievement I bought these:

Two 2 Power Window Door Lock Illuminated Arrow Rocker Switches Universal Type | eBay

Then I put the originals on the shelf with the rest of the original parts that don't work quite as well as new ones. :) There are tons to choose from on eBay, these even light up and are direct plugins in every way! They just light up...all by themselves!

Oh! And did I mention they're $18 including shipping! Gotta love that! Save the originals for the concourse!

Certainly handy to have around for trouble-shooting, and much better looking than others I have seen.

    Thanks for the link.

I have attached two more pictures, both a little out of focus, sorry.

    1. I could not heat-stake the posts again so I tapped them for 080 brass screws. I don't like to glue things.
    2. Dirty contact, not the main source of resistance. The main source was the bar it made contact with.
