can you people recommend that I change from OEM bulbs in my 355 (low beam) to the Toshiba HIR 9012 bulbs? If it is a good update how do I remove the headlamp from its pod to change the bulb itself?
Like many fellow 355 owners, I have also installed the HR9012 in place of the stock low beam bulbs. I presume you found them on eBay from Maxlumen? Here's my guide whcih hopefully will help you make the project go more smoothly. I did have to struggle to get that lamp unit out of the pod. BTW, if you don't mind losing all your settings on your stereo, you can use the battery disconnect switch. Just realized my document file is too large to attach.
