Touch up paint for the matte pieces

Just noticed your question in passing. I've seen all sorts of different textures etc used as most cars have had their sills repainted a few times by now. Mine had been redone to be almost a satin finish so had it resprayed to be matte....... but neither were the same as another 348 I saw. Probably best to get a few samples. Sorry if this is far from a definitive answer, just my observation.

 

I used to touch up the black bits but I drive my car too fast and get a huge number of chips. The answer is a can or two of matt black spray from the local car part store and a few hours of hard graft. I had mine done professionally some eight years ago and the result was rubbish - it doesn't take much to get perfection, even from a spray can.......preparation and patience is the key - if I can do it at home, so can you!
