OK so my car has 2-3 small touch up spots (maybe half the size of a fingernail) and I'm curious if there's anything that can be done to eliminate them.

If you look closely you can see them but I'm wondering if it's possible to basically blend them in. I want to have my car clear coated so I'd like to do this first if possible.

Those are some major "chips" depending on the finger nail. Basically you will be building up the chipped area and then leveling it off by wet sanding. If you don't feel comfortable with the process I would seek out a professional detailer in your area or get a referral from FerrariChat. Here's a good tutorial on what's involved with much smaller damage.

I'm taking the car to Ferrari of Beverly Hills next week for some recall stuff, I guess I'll ask them to see what they say.

I don't want to attempt it myself, paint is one thing which I've learned my lesson on before. The detailer I use isn't good for painting, I had him touch up a few spots I messed up on my Viper and it just looked like somebody used a paint brush. Pissed me off and I don't want that on a Ferrari.
