No wonder there's revolutionaries around! It's getting more big brother every day. They can find helicopters for this yet they are often short of them when they have been required for search and rescue to save peoples' lives. Oh, but I forgot, this speed enforcement thing is about saving lives...not for revenue...ha ha. Got pulled over recently for doing 63 in a 50 and I pleaded with the "officer" not to book me. She said "we have to get the road toll down". I couldn't resist it and asked her if she seriously thought I could kill someone with the beama doing 63k's. Naturally, got the blank distant "doing my job " look without any rational responce. I guess they're not paid to think. To be fair to our constabulary, its not their fault. Its our politicians who give the orders....solution....viva la revolution! Gonna rush out and get a Che Gavara t shirt and head band.

doing it this arvo, I leave everything to the last minute and run around like a chook with the head off, trying to fit it in between 3 jobs (all paid too!!) He's a good guy, takes a ribbing ok. I told him once that I've known him that long I remember when his hair was grey! I also told him if he parts his hair any lower, the part will be under his ear! When I first met him ('82 or '83) he was that serious that he wouldn't cop anything....s'pose everyone mellows with age.
