I finally collected my F12 from Germany! First impressions are that it is amazing! What better way to become familiar with Ferrari's greatest Grand Tourer than on the German Autobahn?? Unfortunately I only have a 5 day export plate, therefore this trip is going to be a short one. Having stated this, I will be back in September for a 21 days with a heap of car guys for a tour including a 918 which will be heaps of fun. Day 1: Travelled from the South of Germany through Austria to the Vicenza in a the North of Italy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The travel luggage is so well made and fits perfectly. The only problem was that we also had our luggage form home to deal. Not problem in the F12 as it has SO MUCH SPACE! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Started with a Quick Blast on the Autobahn and then some fuel. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations! Perfect color combo. I have the luggage set too and it's really high quality and a perfect fitment. Our Euro-Tour starts in a few days and goes from Germany over Monaco / Monte Carlo to Milan and back to Germany. I think it will be a hell of fun. Take good care of your F12. Best regards
Absolutely amazing. I was really worried as my seats in my 458 are so uncomfortable. I am always feeling like I am sitting on top of my 458 rather than in it. The F12 is just perfect!
I wish you lots of fun! P.S. If you have found a good car wash / detailing service in Monte Carlo, drop me a PM, please I have heard a few names like protech and 2m lavage...but could not find any experiences.
Hi you can get another five day plate in Germany if you want one. I actually had three in a row as it took a while to organise registration.
If you will drive through Munich please let me know! It would be nice to meet you and admire your car!
Congratulations; the F12 is such a beast and elegantly looking car at the same time. Enjoy your tour of Europe and keep us updated! Gr. Martin
Thanks Guys for all of your well wishes and sorry for the delay as I was just having too much fun to post. We drove from the South of Germany to Vicenza in Italy, passing through Austria along the way. This girl can DRINK! I was filling her up with Blue Super 100 octane. Day 2; Drove from Vicenza to Verona for a day of shopping and then back to Vicenza. Saw a yellow SAAB in Verona. Proving that birds of a feather flock together.... I found myself parked right next to a 458 Speciale. Ate at a new Modenese Restaurant in Vicenza and had an amazing meal! Day 3; Woke up early to head for Cinque Terre. First off..... more fuel.... Given that Maranello was only 40 minutes out of the way, we decided to pop in and say G'day! The road from the North of Tuscany to La Spezia was HEAVEN! Brand new roads with long sweeping bends and enough tunnels to make music all day long. We were humming along at 200kph for at least 1 hour and it was nice to become one with the car.
