    Fantastic thread, thanks for sharing. Great pictures and great videos, I still remember your 550 road trip thread quite well and this one was as good if not better.

    If you are ever looking for a playground closer(ish) to home, you may enjoy South African roads.

    I always wanted to do a trip like this and might yet, it is reminiscent of some of the stories in the 60s and 70.
    Love the colour and the car and wonderful pictures and Videos. please followup with the next installment.

    Just found this thread on the Newsletter, so started at the beginning... LOVED seeing the trip data with top speed attained of 296 kilimeters/hr (184 mph!!!) on the first leg. Wow!

    Agree - their ratings of hotels are really good and I can't recall staying at a bad one in Europe or elsewhere.

    When you get back to Germany come play in my sandbox (about 45 minutes away) I keep a pretty stout Autobahn Marauder here for the 6 months we are here at our summer home (then back to Florida)
