Thinking about the possibility of driving around Europe next spring. Maybe send over the 512TR or the M5 or renting some nice wheels over there.

Touring Europe in a nice LeMans blue 2006 Z06 Corvette would be fun too :)

Any advice on insurance, safety, & customs ? Thanks

Shipping/insuring a car over will cost more than renting an exotic over there.

Euro delivery for an M5 works $ wise esp. if you're going to drive it over there for several weeks.

Well, depends on how long you are gonna be here. If it's a good while, then bring your own. If it's only for a couple of week/ a month, then rent one.

I would highly suggest you look through your insurances to make sure they suffice. Especially material/bodily harm to others. It would be nasty if you were to get in a accident and harm somone or smash a car.

Regarding safety. Just make sure to obey the speed limits when they are posted. Europe have lots of freeways where you can drive fast, and you are allowed to many places, but then when there is posted limits, obey them. You will get fined and maybe even be banned from driving in the country you speed in. I hope you will be greatly surprised of how good manors people here display in traffic, and that's why it is important to obey limits when they are there, because your fellow roadusers don't tolerate it aswell. This is especially in Germany. With great liberties comes great responsebility :)
