    VERY interesting photos!
No idea where the car is today. This crash makes it likely that it was written off and scrapped. But who knows....

But I doubt that it is #002 which was in the USA in 1957, came back to the factory to be repodied by Touring (in its standard 3500GT-coachwork) and was in 1961 owned in Chicago, USA. It remained there until 2003 when it was sold by RM auctions to Alfredo Brenner of Houston, TX. He sold #002 later to Florida!

Please keep in mind, that in total 14 cars, based on the 3500GT-chassis came out as prototypes by all coachbuilders (Frua, Touring, Allemano, Moretti).

But no idea where the car you showed here is today. For sure it was in Munich, Germany, in the early 1960s and registered there and most likely came back to Italy to be send and sold to Spain. This crash makes it likely that it was written off and scrapped. But who knows....

I seem to remember a few years back someone coming on this forum, asking about a 108 that they had, I think it was in Spain.

    found the thread https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/looking-for-a-windshield-for-an-old-maserati.389536/#post-141894803

I'm not sure if it's just Italian culture or just certain people in general, but it is not uncommon to unearth a treasure of random items in Italy that went completely ignored by a person or family for decades on end. A client of mine was there recently and found a mountain of NOS Magnetti Marelli and Facet ignition service items (distributor caps, rotors) dating to the 70s. Mostly Ferrari/Lambo/Maserati. All of it was sitting in a building that appeared to have been ignored by time itself for 30+ years. The family who owned the building were oblivious, said it was a relatives who had since passed away many years ago. Stuff that just sits and collects dust doesn't eat or drink nor complain..... so it just sits.

I would not in the least be surprised if this car is in Italy sitting in some building with 15 other cars, all untouched for 40 years, with a family who had no idea what any of it is.

Here Walter, you talk about AM101.002, the first Allemano bodied car. Not very attractive and rebodied by Touring in standard form.
