Touring Superleggera will show its reimagined 550 https://www.classicdriver.com/en/article/sponsored-content/touring-superleggera-introduce-pure-italianita-quail at the Quail, let's see if Louis De Fabribeckers nailed it as he did with the beautiful Berlinetta Lusso.
I left Touring Superleggera in 2022, so I have nothing to do with the new Touring Superleggera's car. Best regards, Louis de Fabribeckers

Will this be in Monterey for all to see? I hope someone posts pictures. While it's cool to see people tweek the maranello I look at the 550 today and it just gets more and more classic looking. When the 575 came out I thought that's the way a maranello interior should look. but it is 25+ years since the 550 and the 550 just exudes classic lines and classic design including an interior that complements the body lines.
I don't think it's an improvement.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1939836749567520/permalink/3718771105007400/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v Image Unavailable, Please Login
Strangely I look at that and the bridge to the 599/612 scagilitti nose. We had 550 and 575 OK make this one 585?
I have two different feelings about the car. First the design, and it’s purely personal. I don’t really like it. There some nice details inside and outside, great reminders to both Touring and Ferrari heritage, and of course some pure lines - but too many lines? And second, the concept. It’s pure Touring heritage to use an existing chassis and add its design and give its proper shape. Strangely they did this with a Pininfarina car, but actually, if they use an existing car, they are necessarily forced to use a car designer by another designer… To me it’s more like a restomod of a 550 than a new car (as per they did with the Berlinetta Lusso and the Aero 3). Still, I’m impatient to see some live pics and videos of the car, and then also see the other models personnalised by their customers.

Most of your masterpieces were based on cars younger than the 550, and despite the rules limitations (e.g. the high bonnet/beltline) they managed to look impossibly sleek. I couldn't wait to see what you could have create with a base with far fewer limitations like the 550. The best luck for your current projects!
Meh, not that exciting. Rather just get a modern ferrari Big 90s greenhouse looks awkward with modern graphics. And who wants superleggera emblems over iconic prancing horse?
I still think the pinnacle of maranello development was the prodrive racecars in purposefull esthetics and performance
Thank you sharing the photos. I respect the tremendous effort they put into this but would rather have an original.
