I was planning on heading down to the Tower Shops for the car show they have every Friday night. Is anyone planning on going? It is usually packed with all kinds of interesting vehicles and usually packs um in. Should be a good night considering the hurricane shut it down last Friday.

Hey Eric, I think I saw you there last time I went, I had the black 512M

They're not terribly Ferrari friendly up there, they seem to like American muscle better

Yeah, but there's usually a fair turnout of exotics especially if there is enough heads up.

I used to bring my 360 most Fridays in the winter along with Richard and his F40 with a few others that showed up fairly regularly. We have had 7 or 8 Ferrari's there at one time along with a Murcie, an NSX or 2, Vipers, etc. I used to get there early to secure as many spots as I could so we could all park together. If you don't get there early, parking is a mess.

I have somewhere to be Friday evening but may try and stop by for a bit beforehand. What time are you planning on getting there?

The tower shops are just south of 595 on University - across the street from the Davie Ale House.

Yes I do remember seeing you up there. How can you miss a double turbo 512m. I used to take my vette up there. That was my first time there with the f-car. I am sure we will meet again. I plan on going up there if the weather is good.

That is one sweet ride! I transported a BMW 2002 from 1971 for a friend to Knoxville a week ago and the guy that sold the car had a 1941 Willys Jeep. Fully restored. The sweetest thing. I guess I have a "thing" for old Jeeps. Mine is a 93 Grand Cherokee and in need of restoring LOL :)

I'm tenatively planning to attend Tower Shops tonight. Perhaps I will be able to bring a car from Motorcar Gallery but it depends on the weather, etc.

There is a guy driving around Ft. Lauderdale lately with what looks like a WWII
vintage Army Jeep complete with 50mm gun attached. It's one way to get through the traffic I suppose.

I'm guessing he won't have any problems at the gas stations!

And for the record, I've got a 79 CJ7 that is on the up and up. Now if only I can wire the brake lights, get seat belts and a windshield! I'll be getting about 6 miles per gallon then!!!

It is a 50 caliber but it is disabled - the breach has been cut - so it is purely for display purposes.

Back when I lived in Arizona we mounted a set of Browing machine guns on the skids of my friends Hughes 500. He eventually got a ticket for shooting cactus, while doing some straifing runs in the desert, and the judge agreed to dismiss the fine - which was tens of thousands of dollars - if he agreed to remive the machine guns.
