As you can see, I had to do this recently. If you don't have any friends who can suggest one, start looking for tow companies with flatbed tow trucks. Tell them its a low ground clearance Ferrari. If you don't have the tow hook to screw in, they will have to pull the car from the front axels. I think the tow hook was included in the toolkit. They pulled mine from the axels with no problem. Most importantly when pulling from the axels, they need to make sure there is enough of an angle on the tow straps so they do not touch the underside of your front bumper and start pulling it up...bad. They accomplished the angle on mine by putting a couple of thick boards at the base of the flatbed, raising the front tires by about two inches, to create less angle as its being pulled up. If you are towing to a ferrari shop ..ask them to recommend a towing company .. they probably know someone who is very familiar with your car and will treat it right ..after all the shops reputation is on the line If you are shipping to your home ..still ask your local dealer for a recommendation Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
Question for all 360 owners reading this thread. Have you taken the time to try screwing in your tow hook; you know, just in case? Very easy to cross thread if you've broken down, its dark and you're stressed. Worse if you've had an accident. Next time you are wiping her down with a diaper, give it a try.
So the tow hook doesn't seem to be the correct one. It felt like only maybe 3 or 4 threads screwed in to hold and wouldn't go any further. All is good though, he seemed to know what he was doing and got it loaded and delivered to my trusted shop. At the time I was freaking out and thanks apll for the advice. Bummer. But that isn't generally too bad. Just clean it out. Shave the head if needed or wanted. Assemble and drive. Despite the post to the contrary, never pull it by the axle. Always use the tow hook. Second, only use tire straps to tie it down; DO NOT tie it down from the suspension. The rest is easy.
