Hello, I have to have my car towed from FOS back to home (eastside) or down to Carlo, if he can fit me in. The folks at FOS recommended Crossroads towing because their flatbeds are more suitable for Ferrari (maybe there lower - i don't know). Does anyone have experience towing your cars, I don't understand why a regular flat bed would not be suitable. Thanks, Renz
The angle from the level of the street to the "cant" of the extended flat bed needs to as flat as possible. Tow outfits that have experience with very low cars or cars with a lot of overhang are the ones you need to talk to. A "long" bed truck or one with "bridge" ramps are the ones to use. Sorry I don't have specific names. If FOS recommends Crossroads then it's probably because they meet the requirements above.
+1 on Crossroads Towing. I used them when the clutch went out on my Countach several years ago. No issues at all loading it onto their flatbed. Mike
