I'm probably the only one confused here, so, for my benefit, can you please be specific where exactly the drop off spot is for those of us who decide to bypass the drive and go directly to the drop off spot/car show?

Your earlier post states "The terminus point is the Greenville Salvation Army."

What is the address for the terminus point for dropping off gifts before proceeding to the car show?

 

Well, the weather forecast is getting better, only a 20% chance of freezing rain and sleet. Still COLD, but that's no issue as long as there's coffee and hot chocolate

Don, like Frances said, what's the actual drop off/pre-car show point?

Do they want the presents wrapped or unwrapped? I've done a few of these and some of them prefer one way or the other, usually unwrapped so they can match the gift with the appropriate recipient.

 

TOYS:

8-12 year old group is most in need.

Unwrapped donations.

Battery operated toys OK, but make sure you donate the batteries.

 

I probably won't hang around for a 'car show', even if I do the drive (which I plan to at this point). I'd rather just drop the toys and go.

Made a run to Target last night w/ my 10 year old. He picked the presents. We wound up with soccer balls (big surprise), a basketball, an electronic dart board, and some wind up wheel thing.

Let's hope the weather holds.

Don I have a problem that will stop me being there Saturday I will be giving my toys (the ones I bought ) to Mark to bring he will also weather permitting and assuming James gets done with it, be driving one of my toys . Hope all goes well and sorry I will miss the get together.

You know, it's hard shopping for kids when you don't have a clue

I have a bag o' random stuff. According to the 5 AM weather dude on Fox, the rain isn't going to be an issue. Still, I think I'm going to RainX the windshield.

Having had three its still a mystery what they like and dont I know when they get older it becomes easier money does just the trick.

I will now be unable to attend. Just was made aware of a mandatory bank class that I have to be at from 8 to 11 am tomorrow. Anyone I can drop toy with?

 

Hopefully, someone close to you will respond but just in case - I'm kind of far from Plano (Mockingbird/Preston) but if your class in the a.m. happens to be towards downtown or if you are heading out this way this evening, I'd be glad to take them.

 

I'm in Frisco, you can swing them by my house before you go to class. I'll PM you with my phone.
