Bought some 16M wheels for my Scud and need to know where to get TPMS sensors at a fair price?
Kevin- Amazon and TireRack both have pretty good prices. Looks like she takes HUF RDE011 and you may see HUF Beru RDE011 since it looks like Huf bought Beru's TPMS business, at least. A 599 owner had good luck with non-Huf Beru sensors like the ones on Amazon for $46 each.
Thanks Taz.....I know its been asked before just got lazy to look it up,lol... Please e-mail me your address when you get a chance... I have something I want to send you..... [email protected]
I have ordered several different sets from here and always good service and price. http://www.tpms.com/HUF_TPMS_Sensor_RDE011_42753TP6A82_p/huf.rde011.htm
Thanks Taz and Teach......Looks like 76.00 is the best price. Do you think I really need them as it seems they always read low anyway...Will it set a code without them or should I just get them?
Kevin- New sensors will likely not cure low readings, but will prevent no readings from weak batteries, which will give you a warning lamp. An SD3 can read out the battery life remaining on the sensors in months, to give you some idea how much life you have left. Ferrari will probably charge you almost as much for the SD3 data as the sensors cost, however, unless you are having other work done. Make sure and use valve rebuild kits if you do change the sensors. TPMS.com is a good source for those, too. The valve kits are as little as $1.69 each from suppliers. Same as the $1.69 Mercedes kit here. http://www.sherco-auto.com/tpms.htm
