Hi. Anyone with access to OBD2 reader that can check? I have verified that the throttle goes all the way to the cast stop on the throttle bodies. So not possible to get more opening mechanically. TPS signal is consistant and seems in order apart from that it doesnt go to 100 percent

Thanks guys and have a nice weekend.

Hm ok so this might sense. However what I see on my OBD2 is 77 percent and not degrees..

I have a generic OBD2 scanner that i connect to my phone an I recall the throttle never went to 100%, it stopped in the 70s. I assume its just related to the parameters on the scanner not matching ferraris

Funny. It talks about angles and lists percent. How do you measure % offset angle. Percent of what? The offset angle is the angles at start up which the ECU then read throttle position relative to. Relative Throttle angle = Absolute angles - Offset angle. By the definitions in the WSM, % throttle would be something like 100 * (Relative angle/72 ) . 0% being the idle position.

As usual, Ferrari makes it clear as mud.

Hehe yes. I am used to Motec and Autronic efi on my racecar. And TPS is always read as 0 percent idle and 100 full throttle..
Perhaps my p d reader reads a value given in degrees from ecu. But extension in OBD software is default as percent. This is causing confusion of course.

Perhaps using SD1 diagnose software will show a different picture. I can get access to one I think..

Mats, did you verify that your throttle was indeed opening 100% even though the code reader was showing in the 70's? I have tested other cars I have owned and always basically got0% at idle and 100% at full throttle. I read the WSM and it does address it saying at full throttle it will be at 72 degrees. I just measured mine and made some adjustments at the gas pedal and it is reading 72.5%. I was going to look at the throttle cable / crank on the plenum and verify full throttle when the gas pedal was pressed all the way to double check. Not sure it is needed, but it would just verify full throttle when the gas pedal was pressed all the way.
