I have a 88.5 TR with 15k . I 'm playing around with putting a 75hp nitrous kit onboard. Any experience out there. I already have it on my motorcycle. Thanks for any input

Check with Norwood Performance in Dallas. They've done quite a bit with TRs and would know what to do best regarding performance upgrades.

IMO - Why nitrous a TR? Just throw on a Tubi, hollow out cats, and drive it. TRs aren't the quickest thing on the road, and they can't launch hard. I just enjoy mine as a great distance ride. Post up what you end up doing... I might join you and tweak mine up too!! :)

Hutch - you have hollow cats and a Tubi? wow- how loud is it in the cabin? If you had to guess what kind of HP gains did you receive?

Hey John!! The cabin is not too loud, but it is definitely not quiet. As far as hp gains, I don't know (never dynoed the car before or after installing Tubi and hollowed cats), maybe 15-20??? Just a guess...

Hey Byon, you fit it if you want it dude. I have used nitrous kits on various machines including my bikes that i have owned for 15 years, its all good. Be very care full though about posting what you have done especially if your thread contains any photos, becourse there are allot of negative posters on f.chat who cant wait to jump on any one who dares to mod the holy ferrari.

I must confess....I too have thought about a low-horsepower nitrous system on my TR. Since this has already been done by people....does anyone know what system was used? Dry? Spray Bar? Ports? I can imagine installing spray bars in between the outlet of the air/fuel meters and the intake of the top plenums. Maybe install them in the sleeve between these two pieces? I know the air/fuel is going uphill at this point....but would it work? I hope it doesn't involve any permanent mods to the intake system.
