I am trying to source a Brembo GT part 2B2.8003A2 for my 87 TR. Any insights from recent purchases on stock ? I am getting out of stock on allot of sights.

Any thoughts or insights on those who have done this conversion - good or bad ?

thank you in advance, regards, hg

Last I spoke with them late last year, Brembo has discontinued all 355mm/F50 caliper brake kits. They are NLA. Note doing just one axle is ill-advised, particularly on a car without ABS, as it will screw up your brake bias leading to worse stopping distances and unstable handling in extreme/panic situations.

Assuming you luck out and find a (full) set, they do require 18in wheels due to inner barrel clearance issues on the testarossa with 16in wheels.

All above caveats aside, I have the full brake kit on my 512TR and love it. I would do it again in a heartbeat and glad I bought it when I did (I think it was one of the last sets Brembo sold). Everything about it is improved over stock* and in my case, the rotors are now actually cheaper then the vastly inferior OEM ATE setup.

*technically the pedal travel distance is slightly longer but the linear feel and more modulation makes lovely.
