    Are the stock exhaust systems on a 90 TR stainless? My tips look horrible. Any suggestions on cleaning/polishing?

    Try using some type of metal polish and fine steel wool. 00 or 000. Worked fine on mine.

    Groits (sp?) sells chrome polishing strips that are a piece of fabric about 1/2 inch wide and maybe 12 inches long that are impregnated with chrome polish. I take one of those, make a complete loop around the exhaust tip and work the strip back and forth, each one takes about 30 seconds and then shine with a clean cloth.

    I use 'Wonder Wheels', a solution for cleaning ally wheels but works well on exhast tips to remove all those nasty exhaust soot. Hope this helps.
