I hesitate to post stuff like this on F-Chat, since it's typically met with complaining.
    Nevertheless, here goes:

    1985 Ferrari Testerossa

I have no affiliation, just making it known. If you don't like the price, condition, color, spelling, etc., tell him, not me.

I responded to the ad a last night and no response, I could never understand why people post something for sale then don't even reply to your email...

I'm happy to go have a look at it on anyone's behalf. I thought the price was decent considering.

And thanks for not complaining at me. I've given up posting this kinda 'heads up' stuff in the Mondial section because I get so sick of the griping.

If I wouldn't have allready buy I would have been interrested. The price is good, mileage is not bad. I love those wheels.

Hmm... Not sure about this one. To me when a TR is not close to factory specs, especially on the radio and subwoofer stuff, I can't help it but imagine the guy dropping the clutch outside some night club... I know the price is fair, but I wouldn't buy it.

I am with you on this one. It does not interest me. Price way to low, which means trouble later.

Ads are only part of the story, personal examination completes the picture. From first glance it defiantly looks better than the similar priced Miami TR that was posted last week or so. Some dealer will probably haggle off a few thousand, put the OE stuff back on, give her a good cleaning and mark it up 7 grand. I understand low prices can be a red flag to buyers. But they can also mean the seller is in a cash crunch and sometimes toys have to go. Been on both sides of that equation. I just dumped a couple of pristine motorcycles last summer as I had some unexpected bills pop up when buying my new house. IF I was local and in the market for a flying mirror TR, I would defiantly take a look.

All musings of an idle minds. Could be true. I also cringe when I see big stereo talk... Could also have a very different story. Distress sale - Recent surgery, out of work, need quick cash...? They were aware enough to save the factory wheels, exhaust, etc. Could be a good deal. No one will know until someone that knows these cars has a look at it and reports back.

Dizengoff - if you are bored this weekend and looking for a distraction...

I'm available. A recent business sale means I have some free time.

I don't understand this forum. Every time I post an ad like this, it's met with complaints. What gives?

I don't read any complaining, what I read is different people with different opinions--get used to it if you are going to post on an open forum. We don't all unanimously agree (or disagree) on any topic--the value of the forum is hearing different opinions and points of view, many you'll learn from, others you'll learn to ignore.

"-the value of the forum is hearing different opinions and points of view, many you'll learn from, others you'll learn to ignore".

In other words, "Take what you need and leave the rest".
You might consider that some of the cynicism you hear is from actual experience.
