    Recently I had new injectors installed. Her performance increased and so did the miles. I have never paid much attention to how many miles per tank full I was getting but now I feel like it jumped 20-30 miles more.:)

    Let's see who has the highest miles per tank. This can be fun... :)

    I will fill up tomorrow and be on a run all day, I will post pictures and record the miles.

    Petrol has just reached an all time high here in the UK so I am now frightened to fill her up as I may just get my collar felt by the bank manager :(

    I daren't even contemplate the MPG, Lynda would kill me if I ever gave her a hint...

    All injectors were cleaned / flowed last year ..

    1 litre gives me 5 km's only .... driving in the city and cruising on the highway makes hardly any difference ...

    Only if I really drive up to 90 mph, I get 6 km's on one litre ... so it hardly ever happens ... :)

    Full tank which is what 90 liters ???

    I get around 400 Kms on A tank in the summer, hard to get good gas mileage when it takes me 4 minutes to warm her up, then drive around in1st gear for the first 5kms before the gear box warms up....and then when it does, I can't help but hit 6,000 rpm in 3rd all the time.

    Maybe I should buy a Prius for my DD to offset it ...LOL

    I drive my Testarossa NOT looking for "miles per Gallon", I drive looking for "Smiles per Gallon", there is a reason the flat 12 sings at 7,200 rpm....Mark

    Wasn't the original EPA window sticker like 10 city, 12 hwy? However who really cares. Its a fun care to drive.

    Dear Ferraristi,


    My 91 TR is a daily driver. I get 10mpg tooling around town, running errands etc. When I drive on the interstate 60-70 mph, I get a consistent average of 18 MPG.

    I just hit 58,000 miles....so, I have a good idea... ;)

    ...oh, I run it redline all the time. Yes, it uses more gas but it definitely runs better.

    HARD to BELIEVE the Lamborghini only getting 6 miles per gallon!!!.....a 426 HEMI Cuda gets BETTER mileage than than!!!....Mark

    I just filled her up... I got 271 miles for 19.93 gallons, that is 45 miles more than what I use to get. We shall see what she will do tomorrow. It will be a nice full day of fun under the sun. She is washed and waxed ready. :)

    That sounds pretty good to me considering the US gallon is smaller than the Imperial gallon.

    I get 13 - 14 mpg all the time.

    I guess my smiles per gallon is around 100 because I don't even have to drive it to enjoy it.

    Had a super day with the TR, she preformed very well. Fill up was 23.12 Gallons at the same station with a 273 miles total. There was plenty of redline. Over all, replacing the injectors added about 50 miles to a full tank.

    Hate to insult anyone but....I cant believe you guys even track MPG in a TR of all cars. I just put gas in when the gauge goes to 1/4. Enjoy the ride & sounds of course!!!

    I am happy with my results and increase of 50 miles simply becuase of injector changes. I am not trying to get Honda MPG results out of my TR... lol
