TR mechanics in Florida

My TR came back from its major service without me being able to easily get the car in first gear. The repair shop is not responding to this issue and I would like to take the car elsewhere. Any recommendations- Central/SW Florida preferred, but it needs to be someone very experienced with TR's. Thank you.

If you want to DIY I'm attaching the relevant excerpt from the WSM. I just did it for the second gear linkage — the main challenges are that you need to lie underneath the car and have a second person inside the cabin.
