Just changed the oil and when looking inside the oil filter, I saw that the inside metal lining was twisted. How could that happen? It wasn't overtightened. After cutting it open, there was no foreign material found. Could it be excessive oil pressure?

Was the filter a FRAM ? I've heard that they can collapse internally. If it is , I would switch to Baldwin.
