Hi Folks, I'm about to re-enter the Fcar world after a long time away being distracted by the likes of vintage Corvettes and Porsches. Current object of my desire is a 1990 TR. I'd like some input on the details of the FNA recall campaign for TR seat belts, and how likely it is to still recieve support for this if a car was not updated (I've herd stories of local Fcar dealers putting off TR owners, but don't know what to really expect..) Thanks in advance for any input. :harry
Are you the Harry Edwards Jim Groom used to refer to as Dr Harry? Last I heard they were still doing them but if you want FNA policy I would bet they will give you a good answer if you call them in New Jersey. Jim and I were at Griswold together.
Had mine done in July 2006 by FoDenver without a big undue delay. Maybe the parts availability for the dealer is a little iffy now, but I don't think they can say "no" yet.
This is a subject really close to home. I had my '94 348 Spider belts replaced under warranty in 2002 and FOC told me it was a 10-year window. Now I have a '93 348 with a similar problem and wasn't going to ask Ferrari, but I sure am gonna now.
