    Greetings,

I am getting down to the final steps of a major service and I want to put the original cats back on (PO had them replaced with test pipes), but I don't have pictures of how they were stock. I would like to see the routing of the O2 sensor wires and thermocouple wires as well.

Any pictures would be most welcome.

    Thank you

    Are you running active pre-cats or non-active pre-cat pipes (a hollowed-out stock active pre-cat would be equivalent to a non-active pre-cat pipe)?

With active pre-cats, the thermocouple goes in the fitting at the exit end of the (working) pre-cat.

With non-active (non-working) precats, the thermocouple goes in the fitting at the exit end of the (working) cat.

This is a pic of TR exhaust system with non-active factory precat pipes (142166 & 142167) and stock cats (so the thermocouples are in the exit areas of the cats):

    Mr. Magnusson,

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can see the thermocouples and O2 sensors. I have working pre-cats and the working stock cats will be going back in. I'll locate the thermocouples at the exits of the pre-cats.

    Thank you.

    Mark,

I found the small ones (same as my 308 ones which I already had), but couldn't source the large ones. I paid $15 each for the large ones from the usual source, which compared to a few of the other items, seemed reasonable.

    Thanks.
