I am trying to remove the rear bushings from the A Arms and this proves to be very difficult! there is no way to press it out since the big end of the bushing is covering the entire hole, I tried the hammer it out but its stuck solid....any ideas????

I think you probably need a hydraulic press. Make sure you are pushing the right way and that the bush does not have any tack welds just in case. :)

Mel- Wow, looks like they really needed changing, or did the press do part of that? Look great after.

Mel, thanks for the pictures, please look at the arrows on the picture pointing at the edge of the A arm bushing mount is part of the outer metal sleeve of the bushing just like the new ones have? on the picture you attached with all the new and old parts I cannot see the outer metal sleeves of the old bushings??? My problem is pressing out the outer sleeve of the bushing, I already took out the inner sleeve and rubber, there is no way that I can hold the arm on the press in order to push out the outer sleeve since is just as big as the hole on the A arm ( I hope you understand what I am trying to explain)

The bushes are all one piece units. A press with the correct sized punch should do the job. Or a big big hammer :D

Sorry Phil, did you take them out ?

It was everything but easy, believe me.....

You can get the middle part out easy but the outer part will stick (in my case anyhow) in the lever...

And DO be careull not to bend the lever itsself.. they are frightfully expensive...

Pushing in the block is also a carefull to do job; we made extra ring to get the pressure on the right part of the bushingblock..

If you just push on the middle part of the block; you will ruin it... take care !

Got it !!! For those who are planning to replace the Bushings:
    1. Cut the outer washers with a grinder
    2. push out the inner sleeve and rubber either on a press or with the use of a bolt and large washer.
    3. Make a cut on the outer sleeve that is stuck in there, using a reciprocating saw (be very careful not to cut the arm with it.
    4. Use a socket that is about 28mm for the small ones or 32mm for the big ones and hammer them out, when they are cut they come out easily, allow your self the whole day since it takes forever to get them out.....
