    While I've seen plenty of photos of the cars in the paddock at Palm Beach International Raceway for the Cavallino Classic, I haven't seen many of them on the track, so here's my contribution from Friday.

    More track action. The Sunoco 512M was probably the best-sounding car, but those prewar Alfas sounded pretty neat as well!

    Jim,

    Thanks for sharing the photos! I really miss attending Cavallino. I hope to get back down to visit (maybe next year). I agree, the Sunoco 512M has a GREAT sound. Here's a link to a video I posted from the 2009 Cavallino Track days. It shows the 512M in the pits then running a few laps around PBIR.

    The track day is awesome! I really like how they push those old cars very hard, and the racing can be pretty close too. I will have to come back down for that in the next few years.
