no but i took the bertil roos 3 day course in 1999. not really worth it to me when you can do drivers ed in your own car (which is more fun to drive than the junky open wheel cars) for about 20% cost

I did the Bertil Roos 5 day course - certainly not anything you could do in drivers ed. The open wheel cars are an entirely different experience IMHO.

I have taken 2 Skippy schools over the years. I have taken the one day racing school at Lime Rock and the 3 day race school at the Glen. Plus, I have attended several media day events and have been on their wet skid pad in the trucks with their instructors (very cool and educational). The instructors have all been top notch. The track (Lime Rock) is fast, technical, challenging and safe. It's simple enough to learn the basics quickly and tough enough to be a challenge to really master.

The equipment you get to use is well maintained and they have a variety of cars to drive - each one appropriate to the class you are taking. If you have never been on a track before and plan to take your Ferrari to an FCA event, invest in a one day school first. It's a lot of fun and it will make you a better / safer driver on track and on the road.
