    Just an FYI for anyone interested in a little track time this weekend. Don Kitch is running a track day at Pacific Raceways on Sunday. Cost is $175 for the full day and instructors are available for those who'd like them. Email Don/Donna at [email protected] to RSVP.

    The weather report says 30% chance of showers but that means 70% chance of dry track. Since the racing season has ended I'm in dire need of a track fix so I'll be there. It'll be fun even if it's wet.

    Will, this sounds like fun, even if it's raining!

    So far I've taken my car to the track five times. Each time it has cost about $5000, either for upgrades (wheels and tires, trailer) or repairs (major service, broken axle). Right now it's due for another major service before it goes out on the track again!

    Ouch! It can be a pricey thing to do especially if you add upgrades. For me the expenses have all been around tires, brakes and oil changes. The weather report is looking even better now - sunny and dry most of the day with rain coming in late.
