Having done a track day at Elvington in the Scoob last weekend I can thoroughly recommend it. It's a very long old airstrip. Very grippy surface with loads of run off and small cones marking out a track so if you push to the limit and loose it, no damage is done. Open pit lane - you do 3 sighting laps behind a pace car and then you can go on the circuit as much as you want all day - £90 - bargain! Various mix of cars but no racing or timed laps - it's all about just going out for a play with no plod or speed cameras to worry about... I'm booked to take the F355 up 24th July but if the weather goes nasty it'll be the Scoob again - D'oh! Maybe see some of you there...? http://www.javelin-motorsport.co.uk/trackdays/trackdays.html
From what I saw last time they seem to be pretty relaxed and the info on the web-site is just to cover themselves. There are no houses for miles... Last time there was some very loud Caterham's with bike engines and my Scoob is de-catted - there were no issues. My F355 has Sports cats but nothing further than that....
