Track Day(s) this weekend (20-22 April 2012)

For those that don't know there are three track days at the Ridge the weekend hosted by Hooked On Driving and Cantrell Motorsports.

Friday is a special day for invited guests. You can reach out to Colin for an invitation and he will send you the special hookedondriving link to register. I assume that the day isn't full, but maybe it is. Coaching is available and included in the registration fee. There will be some interesting cars here given Colin's customer cars and at least one black Challenge Stradale.

Saturday is open to all advanced and race prepped drivers. You can register online at hookedondriving.com. This is an open no run group format with fairly liberal passing rules. Coaching is available and is included in the registration fee. There will be a handful of Ferrari's at this day as well. The cost is $395 for a chance to drive for up to 7 hours.

Sunday is a standard Hooked On Driving HPDE day. Four run groups from beginner to race prepped. Coaching is mandatory in the beginner group and optional but included in the other groups. This is a bigger day with 4 run groups of 25 cars. You get less track time (about 2 hours) but it also costs less $295 according to the website.

If you do happen to come out (I know a few of you already are) then feel free to pop on by and say hi. I'll have some beverages and snacks at the pop up hacienda as well as extra chairs and a little protection from the rain/sun.
