Track day

Crazy track day! Sticky throttle on my 95 F355 ruined my track day. There is no way to accelerate through a turn with the damn sticky throttle unless you like doing 360’s. I had no choice but to let M3’s pass me. I bet they are telling some good stories about that & probably will be telling those stories for a life time. A spec Miata probably could have passed me this weekend. Then my steering fluid cap popped off & wouldn’t screw back on. It seemed as if it warped due to excessive heat so I had to use a big hose clamp to secure it. The escapade made a nice mess in the engine compartment. On the way to the track a coolant hose split. The oil temp got really hot too. I don’t think I’ll use 0w-40 weight for a track day again. The oil temp never got in the red but the way getting close.
