I get all the emails from the Targa mob and don’t usually look past the headlines but I clicked on the one today re the GBR Targa and I’m curious as to whether you could enter the “TSD Trophy” category rather than “Tour”?
Or is it not available for some reason?

Yep the TSD is there but it's,as you know,a convolution of full comp and no comp.You fork out an extra $600 plus you have to get other stuff,Rally Safe $180,biz is a bit slow so therefore ...
I;d rather get my comp car and required safety gear to full spec and compete properly,than to do a half arsed attempt which is neither here nor there.
By doing the drive I get to save quite a bit of dosh and do it properly in the car I want to .

It does all seem, well, rather expensive, but I’m sure it’s a lot of fun.

 

We need to get serious and organise a Tassie GG. I have a roadbook with many of the best targa stages. 2020?

Just got off the phone to Marc,he was having a kip.......he'd been up all Sunday night sweeping up all the pieces of Mark Griffiths' Benz that took out the Audi on what turned out to be the last lap of the 12 hour Benz is a complete total loss.

 

I thought he was spannering for the McClunkens ??
