I get Country Life, weekly and so often London Mews are for sale in there, perfect for the "Gent" who has everything in life
My mate whom’s cottage in the Cotswolds I stayed in last year has half a dozen places in Chelsea / South Kensington, but as nice as they are he chooses to spend most of his time at the cottage. I’d do the same.
Agree this is my Favourite home in the Cotswolds from memory on the main street/road of "Bourton -On-The -Water. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As much as I love going to Italy, if I had a limited choice it would be the English countryside over Italy .
London -is a great city to be young, wealthy and succesful, the Financial capital of that region including sick old Europe .
Most places are great when you're young, wealthy and successful. London is a long way from it's best now. Like most capitals in Europe, too many "refugees", too many taxes and too much regulation. If you've actually owned property in London, the reality is ludicrous council rates, heating costs and deteriorating, overloaded infrastructure. All of that plus miserable weather for 2/3rds of the year.
Sounds exactly like Melbourne. At least in London you're only a short hop away from the rest of Europe, which is one of the best things about it.
Melbourne is about to get worse with 5 x 40-storey apartment blocks to be built above newly constructed rail stations,I feel sorry for the people living in 'em it is not a way to live !
