Guys, the PCA florida chapter is holding a track event in January and they are still looking for cars.

Anyone here interested? I am trying to get a few NSX's out there. Would love to have some Ferraris. I think we will have a 360 CS there.

We've got TWO 360CS's already signed up for Barber/Birmingham in March! :)

Thanks for the invite, but Savannah's too for for me to travel right after the holidays... and I'm saving up my track time for Barber. It's nice that you apparently live right there in Savannah.

It is nice. I know there are a lot of ferraris within a few hours driving distance though. Alas, most will just leave them in the garage.

Did you ride in the 308 at the Ferrari event? That thing did REALLY well. I think you would be surprised. Plus you don't have to worry about those pesky police :)

That's a bit overblown... I've been tracking my basically stock 308 about 3 times a year for more than 10 years! I love it, and IT loves it!

yes i have ridden in several, with drivers who would push them WAY harder than i would. i dont fault the car, i love the car, but it would suck to blow one up whilst on the track having fun. the old Z28's and 455 trans ams dont have oil pressure in hard turns either. Atlantaman's 308 with the added dry sump was a bunch of fun. maybe Jfrazar will come with the Lotus, that would be cool! i will have to see how my car behaves now that the cv axle and wheel bearing work is done...............

Michael--I don't have a drysump----I just installed a Moroso 1 QT reserve, and as long as you oil is on the MAX line you will be fine. The only time I see the light is when my oil level is below the fill line.

And you know I was pushing the car to its limits----hell, once I got it dialed in I was gaining on the 360's and holding of the 550.
