Track Lessons with Team Stradale - Great Fun!

Just wanted to share how much of a great time my son and I had yesterday while taking driving lessons with Team Stradale.

We arrived at the Autobahn Country Club a little after 8:00 AM, and after completing all of the forms met with Francesco at the Team Stradale facility. My son rented one of their BMW Z3’s while I took my 328 GTS.

Francesco spent the day instructing both of us on how to improve our driving skills. The morning was spent going over the rules of the track and learning some basics. The North Track was where we spent the afternoon.

Fortunately, track traffic was light, so we had 20 minutes on the track with just us followed by 20 minutes off. My son was kicked my butt, his track times improved from 1:40 to 1:27 by the end of the day. He started the day not knowing how to drive a stick! It was great fun, and we both learned a great deal.

Driving my 328 on the track gave me a completely different perspective on the car’s ability and performance. It was just amazing. We plan to go back for more lessons.
