After 45 years of fly fishing and about 8 years of tracking (I am a much better fisherman then a driver) I have noticed that the size of fish caught and lap times have an inverted relationship over time - the more time that passes after catching a great fish the longer and heavier they get - after a period of time, past lap times get shorter - this relationship is accelerated when alcohol is involved
