Has anyone got a car for trackdays? I used to track my 360 often but due to the maintenance and potential repair costs in case of a crash, I bought a westfield XTR2 to drive on tracks. The fully comp insurance was increadibly cheap at £330 inccluding 5,000 annual miles, breakdown cover and unlimited trackdays (excess £2,000). Mass Image Unavailable, Please Login

Mass, which company did you go with as I'm getting ridiculous quotes for my imported WRX RA (94 - 43k). Its just for the track and will hardly be driven. Quote for 96 Diablo - £3050, Quote for RA - £2300. Where is the sense in that? Regards, Matthew
Have an e30 320i BMW which is fully race prepared that I race in the Khumo and Miltek series. Haven't taken any pics as when its not on track it lives under a cover on my drive way.
Mass 235BHP circa 177lb/ft, weighs 540Kg's. Its an ex hillclimb car, geared a bit oddly, 0-60 is around 4.4secs, it'll do nearly 70MPH in 1st though
It sounds nice. The performance must be somewhere between R400 and R500! I seriously considered to buy a seven but decided to go for something with a little more downforce and high reving bike engine. Its about 410 bhp/ton.
Yep i got and its up for sale at the mo, had a fantastic year in the car and nothing can keep up with it. Some pics of me totally sideways at Oulton Park http://www.victorianoriginals.co.uk/mall/victorianplumbing/monaco/evo_sideways.htm Hoping to get a 360C Race car in the very near future. A slightly old photo of mine... Around 200bhp, 155lbfts and 505kg or so sans sidescreens, roof etc. I have a lot of respect for cars like the radical, but to me aero on that scale is for race cars, not for trackday fun. Yes they're staggeringly quick, but I can't help thinking that once you get through the bravery envelope, the car does much of the cornering for you. And god help you if something mid-track (or a component failure) upsets the aero as I suspect if it did, it would be goodnight vienna very quickly. The 7 is still an astonishingly quick car, and you really feel that you're actually doing the driving in it (even when you get over the bravery envelope) But then I'm biased Image Unavailable, Please Login
hazy look what you done got me going down memory lane looking for one of these Image Unavailable, Please Login
