    Hi

Can anyone tell me of an insurance company that does NOT require a tracker as part of their insurance. It is for a client who has bought a LHD 360, and his insurance company requires it. The previous owner obviously did not need one, but I cannot contact him as he is abroad. Any ideas, thanks very much, and here is a link to the car for those interested.

Surely someone who can afford a sixty grand motor can afford a hundred quid for a tracker ? Especially as it will almost certainly save more than its cost on the insurance

Fair play - but there may be other reasons. The owner may be happy to fork out the extra cash over the phone rather than have to go to the trouble of making the car available for someone to fit an alarm.
Perhaps he doesn't want his own movements recorded - a bit sinister but could make sense.

Just had a qoute for a new tracker, £995 installed and 1st years subs then £295 a year (discount if buy multi year). Thats for an active system where you carry an RF card in your wallet. If the RF card isnt in the car the tracker is activated and contacts the call centre, then you get a phone call...
