Recommendations on a thatcham cat 5. Changing insurer and its now mandatory. Worth having it done at the dealer or by an installer?

At a guess this is for the UK so you have a dilemma: on the one hand your dealer will have a preferred experienced installer - on the other a local (to where?) installer might be cheaper & more convenient eg at home

Spoke to my independent Ferrari service guy and he believes the car has a tracker already installed in it. Car is in storage as I'm having a new garage built.
Will check and see if there is a booklet included. And was given the name of the recommended Ferrari tracking service here in the UK. They are to call me back.

I thought they all came with the Navtrak system fitted in the UK, monitored by Vodafone Automotive, mine did anyway.

Went to the car yesterday (its in a local storage facility), no notification with a NavTrak booklet, but Vodafone Automotive confirmed the car. So now its getting it MOTed, and road tax paid. Currently new 2 car garage being built, and plenty of work needs to be done before car and its partner, and 1969 911E can come home.
