I have been lurking around this board for a while now. Recently participated in a couple of sunday morning runs with this group. Anyway, i have a Porsche 996 C2 that my wife and I take to the track for DE events with the Porsche Club. We absolutely love it. We will be putting more safety equipment into the 911 and it will gradually evolve into our primary track car. That said, i am thinking that a 360 CS might provide me with a different experience, such as mid engine V8 versus rear engine flat 6, paddle shifted versus 6 speed, etc... The 360 CS will be a second track car that will probably see only 2 track events per year, probably at Watkins Glen and VIR.
The last thing i want to do is to turn this thread into a Porsche versus Ferrari thread, but anyone with experience and/or truth to Ferrari being "untrackable"? Will i be sorely disappointed with the ferrari track/DE experience? Thoughts and opinions before i commit myself into the hunt for a 360CS as a second track car?

    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

    From a 996 to a Stradale, you'll be happy.

Just don't get in a Supercup car after you get some seat time in the Stradale.

Also, keep in mind that the 430 Challenge car is probably the first consumer-competetive car they've made in a while. If you are serious, think about picking up a 430 challenge and runnin in the series. The 360 Challenge cars (not the Stradale) were not very competetive outside of the series.
